My name is Namir, a Palestinian mother displaced from Gaza, known as Um Yousef. I’m writing to you from a place of pain — from a tent in southern Gaza where I’ve been living with my children for over a year after losing our home and everything we had. I am the sole provider for my family. One of my children, Mohammed, suffers from epilepsy and needs continuous medical care. Every day is a struggle — to find food, clean water, and basic medicine — not to mention the freezing cold that keeps us awake at night inside this fragile tent. This campaign was created with the help of my dear friend Emily, who stood by my side and helped me set up this link after hearing my story and seeing our desperate situation. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference in our lives — it can provide us with shelter, medicine for Mohammed, or even just a meal to feed my children. Please, don’t leave us alone. Help a family destroyed by war stand again.

The situation here has become unbearable — chaotic, harsh, and life-threatening. We are a family still trapped in Gaza, fighting to survive. Our children are now skin and bones. We haven’t had real food in weeks—sometimes days pass with nothing but a few sips of dirty water. Your donations can help us buy flour when it is available. Mohammed is suffering from seizures due to lack of medication. We have no access to the medicine he needs. The hospitals are overwhelmed or destroyed, and pharmacies are empty. Every seizure feels like a countdown. There is no food. No clean water. No safety. And no male in the house to go out and search for help or aid—it’s too dangerous for us alone, especially with small children. We are completely exposed, cut off, and desperate. We’re watching our children slowly die in front of us. We don’t want pity—we need a lifeline. Every donation, no matter how small, can help us buy a bit of food, water, or medicine… and maybe give our kids a chance to survive this nightmare. Please, if you’re reading this: help us stay alive and donate what you can. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who extends a hand of compassion. With love and prayers, Namir – Um Yousef
